I'm a Research Associate II at NORC at the University of Chicago, coordinating qualitative and quantitative projects for arts, culture, and healthcare clients. My recent work includes managing 80+ qualitative interviews and evaluating audience engagement with livestreamed science content through virtual observations. Previously, I wrote health equity dashboards and built database tools to improve participant retention in HIV prevention research with marginalized communities.

I believe research is most powerful when it bridges understanding and action. My training in quantitative social sciences gives me analytical rigor, while my experience in qualitative methods and user experience research helps me center lived experiences. I'm now deepening my design research practice, bringing social science to design's iterative, collaborative approach.

My creative background shapes how I approach research. Before my University of Chicago scholarship, I nearly completed a professional dance degree in Central Brazil. I currently organize nightlife and arts events in Chicago as a DJ and producer, work that taught me about building community spaces and facilitating collective experiences.
